Why is Matt a wedding photographer?

Because sometimes a glance is more than just a glance.

Because sometimes it’s entirely possible to see love in someone’s eyes.

Because sooner or later, that boy will smile.

Because sometimes life has to wait for more important things.

Because sometimes that darn sun is so annoying.

Because sometimes that girl belongs in his arms.

Because sometimes a golf cart isn’t just a golf cart.

Because sometimes that little girl doesn’t want to pose with Mommy.

Because tennis shoes rock.

Because sometimes she just has to put up with him.

Because some of us are actually old enough to know what this is about.

Because when a bride and groom start gathering up balloons, you should follow them.

Because there's nothing quite like a bubble ambush.

Because bubbles do in fact work in the rain.

Because when a flower girl decides that the old-fashioned way of throwing petals is just too slow, she might come up with an alternative method.

Because this bride actually thought she needed to be cinched up a little tighter.

Because this bride actually thinks she has a bad side.

Because this bride actually thought it would require effort to make her look beautiful.

Because you just can't fake this.

Because even wind, rain, and the dreariest of days can't keep a good wedding party down.

Because the only thing better than two air guitars, is two air guitars and three real ones.

Because sometimes the bride and groom need help on that all-important first dance.

Because sometimes, on a lonely highway between Battle Creek and Tilden, things happen.

Because sometimes we all really do wish we had Jesse's Girl.

Because a picture says at least a thousand words.

And because somewhere, somehow, one hundred years from now, someone will have the following conversation:

Did you see these old wedding photos?

Yes, isn’t that Great, Great Grandma and Grandpa’s wedding?

I think it is.

I wonder where they took those photos.

I’m pretty sure it was on his home place.

Wasn’t that the old horse barn Great Grandpa used to talk about, the one they had to tear down?

I think so. He really missed that old barn.

Wow, it looked like such a beautiful day.

I know. And isn’t that Uncle Jake and Aunt Kayla when they were little?

Yep, that’s them. They were so cute.

They sure were.

I love the celebration shot.

I know, they were having so much fun.

I’m so glad we still have these photos.

I know. The file format’s a little archaic, but we can still print them out.

Shall we hang this one above the fireplace?

Oh that would be so nice.

Wow, what a beautiful day.

I wonder if that photographer realized he was a part of something so special.

Oh, I’m pretty sure he did.
