Why is Matt a wedding photographer?
Because I'll never get tired of the look on his face when he first sees her.
Because the little man loves air guitar.
Because he's really a softie at heart.
Because she really does dance in the rain.
Because I traveled five hundred miles to get this.
Because she'll always want to know what she was doing when Mommy and Daddy said "I do."
Because we only had about fifteen minutes to spare.
Because the bride's still talking smack about out-jumping her new husband.
Because they'll always know who these belong to.
Because there's just something magical about this embrace.
Because they didn't think anyone was watching.
Because little sis' is still talking about this one.
Because Dad really wanted the photographer to get this.
Because they still don't remember what this conversation was about.
Because this, this, and this somehow turned into this, this, and this.
Because that's what friends are for.
Because even though he was done with photos for the day, we somehow found this.
Because these two were at their best when no one else was around.
Because she loves her new sister.
Because this photo is on a submarine somewhere in the south Pacific.
Because we really didn't stage this.
And because staying well past midnight for this shot makes everything I do worthwhile.
